&& tell me you know me deep down inside...
"And right when you think it's all going back to normal, everything swings right back out of wack." Savannah sighed as she sat her little butt into the seat of the swing. The chain links seemed to squeak with elderly complaint. Her jeans tore at the bottoms by her feet where they'd been trodden on too often and now seemed brown with sandy stains. Her delicate little ahnds wrapped carefully around the swing's chains as she swayed back a forth.
She wore a pair of jeans, a dark red t-shirt with horizontal white stripes, and a pair of red flip-flops. She looked confined just then. The usually loud, sarcastic, alive, and energetic Savannah was quiet and trapped inside her own life. She hated moments like those because part of her felt like she was her mother. Curse those stupid journals. She knew hwo her mother had felt, depressed, trapped, lost in her own life. Savannah did for so many different reasons but, it was still bad to wonder if she was getting herself into the same situation. She wished, more than anything, that she could jsut ask Alex about it. She knew she'd not be able to though. No. Alex didn't know that Matthew Fayde had raped and abused Savannah. He didn't know that Savannah was torn and worried and depressed over everything. He also didn't know that his girlfriend, Charlie, had basically saved Savannah the last time that Matt had tried to repeat the past.
The only other person Savannah might be able to possibly tell about it all would be the other 'sibling' closest to her, Jackie Tennison. Jackie had been Savannah's foster sister since Sav was three years old and Savannah trusted her. She trusted her enough to know that Jackie wouldn't tell Alex if she told her what had happened with Matt. Whether Savannah came forward and told Jackie, however, was up to Sav. She just needed to get out of her own mind, she needed advice and felt a little guilty for constantly going to Charlie for it.

&& we all fall away, learning from the steps we take
Jackie was wondering around the neighborhood, trying to take a bit of fresh air on what was a mild day. The summer had a hint of the thought of school creeping closer, and all of them returning to it. Using today's standards and trying to understand all of them. It was as if everything was simpler when you were a young child. But at this point she would rather know than be blocked out from the rest of the world. I beautiful place in which Savannah Davies and Jackie Tennison had become great friends in. Even if they both had their struggles and typically talked to others for advice, they still knew they could go to each other for it.
The breeze that passed was slightly cool, though it was a refreshing sort of cool in the still mild air. Filling her with a bit of needed refreshment with the breeze on her brown and blond hair. Rippling the short sleeve blue shirt that made it look sort of like a wave. It only missing the true look and smell of the sea. Her eyes were eyes of a green tent and was yet another color of the sea. She loved the sea, and the shells that she could find on the shore when she explored. It was a place that was peaceful when there were not a ton of people.
